Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together all Dry Ingredients.
  3. Cut in the Cold Unsalted Butter using a pastry blender or your fingers until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the Buttermilk, Large Egg, and Orange Extract.
  5. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
  6. Gently fold in the Dried Cranberries and Orange Zest.
  7. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and pat it into a 1-inch thick circle.
  8. Cut out scones using a 2-inch biscuit cutter. Place scones onto the prepared baking sheet.
  9. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  10. While scones are baking, prepare the Glaze. In a small bowl, whisk together the Powdered Sugar and Orange Juice until smooth.
  11. Drizzle the Glaze over the warm scones and serve immediately.
