Grandpa Silas’s Oyster And Spinach Stuffing

A classic, comforting stuffing featuring oysters and spinach, perfect for holiday gatherings.
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet, melt Butter over medium heat. Add Celery and Onion from the Vegetables group and cook until softened, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add Spinach from the Spinach group to the skillet and cook for another 2-3 minutes until heated through.
- In a large bowl, combine Bread from the Bread group, the cooked vegetable mixture, Thyme, Sage, Pepper, and Salt from the Seasoning group.
- Chop Oysters from the Oysters group and add them to the bowl.
- Pour Oyster liquor and Chicken broth from the Liquid group over the bread mixture. Mix well to combine.
- Transfer the stuffing to a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
- Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and heated through.
