Instructions
- In a blender, combine all Batter ingredients. Blend until smooth.
- Pour the batter into a bowl, cover, and let it ferment for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight.
- Heat a non-stick appam pan or small wok over medium heat.
- Pour a ladleful of batter into the center of the pan, swirl to coat the sides, and cover.
- Cook until the edges are golden brown and crispy, and the center is cooked through, about 3-4 minutes.
- Serve hot with vegetable stew or coconut milk.
