Instructions
  1. Prepare the Crème Fraîche Glaze: In a small bowl, whisk together Powdered Sugar, Crème Fraîche, and Calvados until smooth. Set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together all Dry Ingredients.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine all Wet Ingredients.
  4. Add the Wet Ingredients to the Dry Ingredients and mix until just combined. Do not overmix.
  5. Gently fold in the diced Apples.
  6. Heat about 2 inches of Grapeseed Oil in a large, heavy-bottomed pot to 350°F (175°C).
  7. Drop spoonfuls of batter into the hot oil, being careful not to overcrowd the pot.
  8. Fry for 3-4 minutes per side, or until deep golden brown and cooked through.
  9. Remove fritters with a slotted spoon and place on a wire rack to drain.
  10. Drizzle generously with the Crème Fraîche Glaze before serving.
