A simplified version of the popular Applebee's burger, featuring a beef patty 'sandwiched' between two flour tortillas with classic burger toppings and a creamy queso-style sauce.
A simplified version of the popular Applebee's burger, featuring a beef patty 'sandwiched' between two flour tortillas with classic burger toppings and a creamy queso-style sauce.
In a bowl, combine all Burger Patties ingredients and form into 4 patties.
Cook the patties in a skillet over medium-high heat for 5-7 minutes per side, or until cooked through.
While patties cook, prepare the Queso Sauce. In a saucepan, melt Butter over medium heat. Add Milk and heat through. Reduce heat to low and gradually add Shredded cheddar cheese, stirring constantly until melted and smooth. Stir in Chili powder.
Lightly warm the Flour tortillas.
Spread Mayonnaise on one tortilla. Layer with Lettuce, Tomato, and Onion. Top with a cooked Burger Patty and generously drizzle with Queso Sauce. Top with the second tortilla.
Serve immediately.
