In a small saucepan, combine all Whiskey Glaze ingredients. Bring to a simmer over medium heat and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until slightly thickened. Set aside.
Cook bacon until crispy. Set aside.
Cook onion rings according to package directions.
Grill or pan-fry burger patties to desired doneness.
During the last minute of cooking, top patties with Cheddar cheese and allow to melt.
Toast hamburger buns.
