  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a 10-inch oven-safe skillet (cast iron preferred), sprinkle Granulated Sugar evenly over the bottom.
  3. Cook over medium heat, without stirring, until the sugar melts and turns into a deep amber caramel. Watch carefully to prevent burning.
  4. Remove from heat and immediately arrange Apple quarters tightly in a circular pattern over the caramel.

  6. Roll out Puff Pastry to slightly larger than the skillet diameter.
