Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare Candied Walnuts: In a small saucepan, combine sugar and water. Bring to a boil and cook until sugar dissolves. Add walnuts and cook, stirring constantly, until sugar crystallizes and coats the walnuts. Spread on parchment paper to cool.
  3. Halve the Pears lengthwise and core them, leaving the bottom intact.
  4. In a medium bowl, combine all Filling ingredients until well blended.
  5. Fill each pear half generously with the Filling mixture.
  6. Place the stuffed Pears in a baking dish.
  7. Prepare Fig Balsamic Glaze: In a small saucepan, combine Fig Balsamic Vinegar and Honey. Simmer over low heat until slightly thickened, about 5-7 minutes.
  8. Drizzle the baked Pears with the Fig Balsamic Glaze and sprinkle with Candied Walnuts before serving.
  9. Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until the pears are tender and the filling is bubbly and golden brown.
