Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Halve the Pears lengthwise and core them, leaving the bottom intact.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine all Filling ingredients until well blended.
  4. Fill each pear half generously with the Filling mixture.
  5. Place the stuffed Pears in a baking dish.
  6. Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until the pears are tender and the filling is bubbly and golden brown.
  7. While pears are baking, prepare the Port Reduction: In a small saucepan, combine Port Wine and Balsamic Vinegar. Bring to a simmer over medium heat and reduce until thickened, about 15-20 minutes.
  8. Drizzle the baked Pears with the Port Reduction before serving.
