Instructions
  1. Prepare Candied Bacon: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Brush Bacon slices with Maple syrup and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until crispy and caramelized. Let cool and crumble.
  2. Prepare Brown Butter: Melt 4 tbsp butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Cook, swirling occasionally, until butter turns golden brown and has a nutty aroma. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together Egg Yolks, Heavy cream, Whole milk, Maple syrup, Brown butter, Vanilla bean paste, Cinnamon, and Sea salt until well combined.
  4. Dip each slice of Bread into the Custard mixture, ensuring both sides are thoroughly coated. Let soak for 10 minutes.
  5. Cook the French toast dippers in a lightly buttered skillet over medium-low heat for 4-5 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Sprinkle with crumbled Candied Bacon and drizzle with Maple syrup. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
