A gourmet pizza featuring a sourdough crust, smoked bacon, a creamy herb ranch, caramelized onions, and a blend of artisanal cheeses.
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C) with a pizza stone inside.
  2. Prepare the Caramelized Onions: Melt Butter and Olive Oil in a skillet over medium-low heat. Add Onions and cook slowly for 30-40 minutes, stirring occasionally, until deeply golden brown and caramelized. Stir in Brown Sugar and Thyme during the last 5 minutes. Set aside.
  3. Prepare the Herb Ranch: In a bowl, combine all Herb Ranch ingredients and mix well. Set aside.
  4. Stretch or roll out the Sourdough Dough to your desired thickness and place on a lightly floured pizza peel.
  5. Spread the Herb Ranch evenly over the Dough, leaving a small border for the crust.
  6. Sprinkle the Fontina and Gruyère Cheese evenly over the Ranch.
  7. Distribute the caramelized Onions and crumbled Bacon evenly over the cheese.
  8. Sprinkle with Parmesan Cheese.
  9. Carefully slide the pizza onto the preheated pizza stone.
  10. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  11. Garnish with fresh Arugula before serving.
