Bacon-Wrapped Shrimp And Grits
An enhanced version of the classic, featuring smoked paprika for a deeper flavor and creamy Gouda cheese in the grits.

An enhanced version of the classic, featuring smoked paprika for a deeper flavor and creamy Gouda cheese in the grits.
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Season Shrimp with Smoked Paprika, Garlic Powder, and Cayenne Pepper.
- Wrap each Shrimp with a slice of Thick-Cut Bacon and secure with a toothpick.
- Place Bacon-Wrapped Shrimp on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until Bacon is crispy and Shrimp is cooked through.
- While Shrimp are baking, prepare Grits. In a medium saucepan, bring Chicken Broth to a boil.
- Gradually whisk in Grits and reduce heat to low. Simmer for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally, until Grits are creamy.
- Stir in Butter, Heavy Cream, and Smoked Gouda Cheese until melted and smooth. Season with Salt and Pepper to taste.
- Serve Bacon-Wrapped Shrimp over creamy Gouda Grits.
