Instructions
Cook Jasmine rice according to package directions.
Brown Wagyu beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat; drain off any excess grease.
Blanch Broccoli florets in boiling salted water for 2-3 minutes, then immediately transfer to an ice bath to stop cooking. Drain well.
Make the Gruyère sauce: Melt Butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Whisk in Flour and cook for 1-2 minutes. Gradually whisk in Milk until smooth. Bring to a simmer, stirring constantly, until thickened. Remove from heat and stir in Gruyère cheese, Dry sherry, Dijon mustard, Nutmeg, Salt, and White pepper until cheese is melted and sauce is smooth.
Combine cooked rice, browned Wagyu beef, and blanched broccoli in a large bowl. Pour Gruyère sauce over the mixture and stir gently to combine.
Pour mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
Combine Panko breadcrumbs and melted butter in a small bowl. Sprinkle evenly over the casserole.
Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 25-30 minutes, or until bubbly and golden brown.
