BJ's Brewhouse Pizookie

A richer, more flavorful version of the classic Pizookie, featuring browned butter and high-quality chocolate chunks. Includes a sprinkle of sea salt.
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Brown the Butter in a saucepan over medium heat until golden brown and fragrant. Let cool slightly.
- Cream together the browned Butter and Brown Sugar until light and fluffy. Add Granulated Sugar and continue to cream.
- Beat in the Egg and Vanilla Extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the All-Purpose Flour, Baking Soda, and Salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Stir in the Chocolate Chunks.
- Pour the dough into a lightly greased 8-inch cast iron skillet or oven-safe dish.
- Bake for 18-22 minutes, or until golden brown around the edges but still slightly soft in the center.
- Let cool for a few minutes before topping with Vanilla Bean Ice Cream and a sprinkle of Sea Salt. Serve immediately.
