Instructions
  1. In a bowl, whisk together all Chicken Marinade ingredients. Add the chicken pieces and marinate for at least 15 minutes (or up to 1 hour) in the refrigerator.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the marinated chicken to the skillet and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  4. Add the onion and carrots to the skillet and cook until softened, about 3-5 minutes. Add the bell pepper and garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
  5. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet. Add soy sauce, hoisin sauce, and sesame oil. Stir-fry for 1-2 minutes, until everything is well combined and heated through.
  6. Serve the Black Tea Chicken Stir-Fry over cooked rice. Garnish with sesame seeds, if desired.
