Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  2. Cook Bacon until crispy. Drain on paper towels and crumble.
  3. Steam or boil Broccoli until tender-crisp. Drain well.
  4. Prepare the Cheese Sauce: In a medium saucepan, melt Butter over medium heat. Whisk in All-purpose flour and cook for 1-2 minutes, creating a roux.
  5. Gradually whisk in Milk until smooth. Bring to a simmer, stirring constantly, until thickened. Remove from heat.
  6. Stir in Cheddar cheese, Monterey Jack cheese, Garlic powder, Black pepper, and Nutmeg until cheese is melted and sauce is smooth.
  7. Combine Broccoli, crumbled Bacon, and Cheese Sauce in the prepared baking dish. Spread evenly.
  8. Top with Tater tots in a single layer.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until tater tots are golden brown and crispy and the sauce is bubbly.
