Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour an 8x8 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, combine all Brownies ingredients (melted butter, sugar, cocoa powder, salt, vanilla extract, and eggs). Mix well.
- Gradually add the flour to the Brownies mixture, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs.
- Let the brownies cool completely in the pan.
- While the brownies are cooling, prepare the frosting. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, powdered sugar, and cocoa powder.
- Gradually add the milk and vanilla extract to the Frosting mixture, beating until smooth and creamy.
- Once the brownies are cooled, frost with the prepared frosting. Cut into squares and serve.
