A sophisticated dessert-like yogurt bowl featuring rich brown butter caramel, a hint of bourbon, and a crunchy pistachio crumble.
Instructions
  1. Prepare the Pistachio Crumble: In a food processor, pulse Pistachios, Flour, and Brown Sugar until coarsely chopped. Add cold Butter and pulse until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Spread on a baking sheet and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown. Let cool.
  2. Prepare the Caramel: In a medium skillet, melt Butter over medium heat and cook until browned and fragrant, about 5-7 minutes. Add Brown Sugar and stir until dissolved. Carefully add Bourbon (it may flame briefly). Stir in Vanilla Extract and Sea Salt.
  3. Caramelize the Bananas: Add Bananas to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, until deeply golden brown and caramelized. Remove from heat.
  4. Assemble the Bowls: Divide Icelandic Skyr between two bowls. Top with caramelized Bananas. Sprinkle generously with Pistachio Crumble.
  5. Serve immediately.
