What You'll Need

Equipment: Large skillet, Waffle iron, Baking sheet, Mixing bowls Shop these items →
Instructions
  1. Marinate Chicken in Buttermilk, Hot sauce, Salt, and Black pepper for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Combine Flour and Cornstarch in a bowl.
  3. Dredge Chicken in Flour mixture.
  4. Fry Chicken in Vegetable oil until golden brown and cooked through (about 8-10 minutes).
  5. Prepare Waffles according to package directions.
  6. To make Biscuits, combine Flour, Baking powder, and Salt. Cut in cold Butter until crumbly. Add Buttermilk and mix until just combined. Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 12-15 minutes.
  7. To assemble, place a Biscuit on a plate, top with a Waffle, then a piece of fried Chicken. Repeat layers. Drizzle with Maple syrup and serve immediately.
