Instructions
  1. Prepare the Chicken: Combine 1/4 cup buttermilk, salt, garlic powder, and paprika in a bowl. Add chicken breasts and marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours.
  2. Fry the Chicken: Remove chicken from marinade and dredge in flour. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Fry chicken for 6-8 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  3. Make the Sauce: In a small bowl, combine all Sauce ingredients. Set aside.
  4. Make the Biscuits: In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Cut in cold butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Gradually add buttermilk, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.
  5. Bake the Biscuits: Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface and pat down to 1-inch thickness. Cut out biscuits using a biscuit cutter. Place biscuits on an ungreased baking sheet and bake at 400°F (200°C) for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  6. Assemble the Sandwich: Split biscuits in half. Spread Sauce on both halves. Place fried chicken on the bottom half of the biscuit. Top with the other half of the biscuit and serve.
