Instructions
  1. Heat Vegetable Oil in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium-high heat.
  2. Add Ground Beef and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned. Drain off any excess grease.
  3. Add Onion, Green Bell Pepper, and Jalapenos to the pot and cook until softened, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Stir in Chili Powder, Cumin, Garlic Powder, Cayenne Pepper (if using), Salt, and Black Pepper. Cook for 1 minute more, stirring constantly.
  5. Add Diced Tomatoes, Kidney Beans, Pinto Beans, Beef Broth, and Tomato Paste to the pot. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for at least 30 minutes, or up to 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
  6. Taste and adjust seasonings as needed. Serve hot with your favorite toppings.
