A slightly refined version of classic chocolate chip cookies, focusing on texture and flavor depth.
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Brown the Butter in a saucepan and let cool slightly.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together all Dry Ingredients.
- In a large bowl, cream together the browned Butter, Granulated Sugar, and Brown Sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the Eggs one at a time, then stir in the Vanilla Extract.
- Gradually add the Dry Ingredients to the Wet Ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Stir in the Chocolate Chips and Chopped Dark Chocolate.
- Chill dough for at least 30 minutes.
- Drop by rounded tablespoons onto parchment-lined baking sheets.
- Bake for 9-12 minutes, or until golden brown around the edges.
- Let cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
