Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C).
In a large pot, combine all Beans ingredients.
In a separate bowl, whisk together all Sauce ingredients.
In a skillet, cook Flavorings Bacon until crispy. Remove bacon and set aside, leaving bacon grease in the skillet.
Sauté Flavorings Onion in the bacon grease until softened, about 5 minutes.
Add the Sauce and sautéed onion to the pot with the beans. Stir well to combine.
Pour the bean mixture into a 9x13 inch baking dish.
Sprinkle the cooked bacon over the top.
Cover and bake for 2 hours. Uncover and bake for an additional 30 minutes, or until the beans are thickened and bubbly.
