Copycat Applebee's Chicken Wonton Tacos

A simplified version of the popular Applebee's appetizer, perfect for a quick and easy weeknight meal.
Instructions
- Cut chicken into small, bite-sized pieces.
- In a bowl, marinate the chicken with 1 tbsp soy sauce, garlic powder, and black pepper. Let it sit for 10 minutes.
- While chicken marinates, prepare the Sauce by combining sweet chili sauce, 2 tbsp soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil in a small bowl. Set aside.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated chicken and cook until fully cooked, about 6-8 minutes.
- Pour the Sauce over the cooked chicken and stir to coat. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Fry wonton wrappers in vegetable oil until golden brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels.
- Fill each fried wonton wrapper with the chicken mixture, shredded carrots, shredded cabbage, and green onions.
- Serve immediately.
