Instructions
In a bowl, whisk together all Marinade ingredients.
Place Sirloin Steaks in a resealable bag and pour Marinade over them. Marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours in the refrigerator.
Remove steaks from marinade and pat dry with paper towels. Discard marinade.
Heat a large cast iron skillet over medium-high heat.
Add 2 tbsp of Butter to the skillet and melt. Sear steaks for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare, adjusting time for desired doneness.
Remove steaks from skillet and set aside. Reduce heat to medium.
In the same skillet, melt remaining 2 tbsp Butter. Add Whiskey, Brown Sugar, and Garlic Powder. Simmer for 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly, until slightly thickened.
Return steaks to the skillet and spoon sauce over them. Let sizzle for 1 minute.
