Equipment: 9-inch pie plate, Food processor, Medium saucepan, Whisk, Mixer Shop these items →
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine all Crust ingredients in a food processor and pulse until a dough forms. Press into a 9-inch pie plate. Bake for 12-15 minutes, then cool completely.
  3. In a medium saucepan, whisk together all Filling ingredients (except butter and vanilla) until smooth.
  4. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened and bubbly. Remove from heat and stir in butter and vanilla.
  5. Pour half of the Filling into the cooled crust. Arrange half of the Banana Layer on top of the filling.
  6. Pour the remaining Filling over the bananas, then arrange the remaining Banana Layer on top.
  7. In a separate bowl, beat all Whipped Cream Topping ingredients until stiff peaks form.
  8. Spread Whipped Cream Topping evenly over the pie. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
