An improved version of the classic Big Mouth Burger, featuring a brioche bun, caramelized onions, a slightly more complex sauce, and a blend of ground beef and short rib.
Instructions
  1. In a bowl, combine all Burger Patties ingredients and mix gently. Form into 4 patties.
  2. Prepare the Sauce by combining all Sauce ingredients in a small bowl and mixing well.
  3. Caramelize the onions: Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced onion and brown sugar. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 20-25 minutes, or until deeply caramelized.
  4. Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Grill or cook the patties for 4-6 minutes per side, or until cooked through.
  5. During the last few minutes of cooking, top each patty with 2 slices of Pepper jack cheese and allow to melt.
  6. Toast the Brioche buns.
  7. Spread Sauce on both halves of each bun. Place lettuce, tomato, and pickle slices on the bottom bun. Add the cheeseburger patty and caramelized onions. Top with the other bun half and serve immediately.
