What You'll Need

Equipment: Shallow dish, Whisk, Vacuum sealer, Sous vide immersion circulator, Sous vide bags, Skillet, Small bowl, Grater Shop these items →
Instructions
  1. In a shallow dish, whisk together all Marinade ingredients.
  2. Add Salmon fillets to the Marinade, ensuring they are coated on all sides. Marinate for at least 1 hour.
  3. Preheat water bath for sous vide to 125°F (52°C).
  4. Place marinated Salmon fillets in vacuum-seal bags and seal.
  5. Cook Salmon in the sous vide water bath for 30-40 minutes.
  6. Remove Salmon from bags and pat dry.
  7. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear Salmon, skin-side down, for 2-3 minutes until skin is crispy.
  8. While Salmon is searing, whisk together all Sauce ingredients in a small bowl.
  9. Once Salmon is seared, brush generously with the Sauce.
  10. Garnish with toasted Black sesame seeds, Green onions, and Micro cilantro before serving.
