Instructions
- In a bowl, combine all Burger Patties ingredients and gently mix. Form into 4 patties.
- Caramelize the onions by slowly cooking sliced onions in butter over medium-low heat until golden brown and sweet (about 20-25 minutes).
- Prepare the Sauce by combining all Sauce ingredients in a small bowl and mixing well.
- Grill or pan-fry the burger patties for 4-5 minutes per side, or until cooked to desired doneness.
- During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of Smoked cheddar cheese on each patty to melt.
- Toast the brioche burger buns.
- Spread Sauce on both halves of each bun.
- Assemble the burgers: bottom bun, lettuce, tomato, burger patty with cheese, caramelized onions, 2 slices of bacon, top bun.
- Serve immediately.
