  6. While the apples are cooking, prepare the Sugar Syrup by combining Brown Sugar and Water in a small saucepan. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is dissolved.
  7. Pour the Sugar Syrup over the cooked apples and cook for another minute, allowing the syrup to thicken slightly and coat the apples.
