What You'll Need

Equipment: Deep Fryer or Large Pot, Wire Rack, Saucepan, Shallow Dish, Bowl Shop these items →
Instructions
  1. Combine Brine ingredients in a bowl. Add Shrimp and brine for 30 minutes.
  2. Combine all Breading ingredients in a shallow dish.
  3. Remove Shrimp from brine, pat dry, and dredge in the Breading mixture, ensuring they are fully coated.
  4. Heat Oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
  5. Fry Shrimp in batches for 2-3 minutes, until golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain on a wire rack.
  6. In a saucepan, combine all Sauce ingredients. Bring to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened.
  7. Add fried Shrimp to the Sauce and toss to coat evenly.
  8. Garnish with Thinly Sliced Green Onions and Toasted Sesame Seeds and serve immediately.
