Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare Sauce: Heat Olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Add Garlic and cook until fragrant (about 30 seconds). Add Crushed tomatoes, oregano, red pepper flakes, and sugar. Simmer for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Season Chicken with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Dredge each chicken breast in Breadcrumb Coating, pressing to adhere.
  5. Place chicken breasts in a baking dish.
  6. Pour Sauce over the chicken breasts.
  7. Top each chicken breast with mozzarella cheese slices.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through and cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Garnish with Fresh basil leaves before serving.
