Make Homemade Ricotta: Follow a recipe for homemade ricotta using 1 quart of whole milk.
Cook Pasta: Cook De Cecco Ziti pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside to cool.
Prepare Sauce: Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Cook until browned and fragrant, about 5-7 minutes. Add sage leaves and cook until crispy, about 1 minute.
