Instructions
- In a large bowl, gently combine all Steak ingredients (do not overmix). Form into four patties.
- Heat a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat.
- Cook patties for 4-5 minutes per side, or until browned and cooked to desired doneness.
- Remove patties from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt all Gravy Butter over medium heat.
- Add all Gravy Mixed wild mushrooms and cook until softened and browned, about 8-10 minutes.
- Sprinkle all Gravy All-purpose flour over the mushrooms and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
- Deglaze the pan with all Gravy Dry sherry, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom.
- Gradually whisk in all Gravy Beef stock until smooth.
- Stir in all Gravy Worcestershire sauce, all Gravy Black pepper, and all Gravy Fresh thyme leaves.
- Bring to a simmer and cook until thickened, about 7-10 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in all Gravy Truffle oil.
- Return the patties to the skillet and cover with the gravy. Simmer for another 2-3 minutes to heat through.
- Serve immediately, garnished with extra thyme leaves if desired.
