A delicious and comforting steak smothered in a savory mushroom gravy, perfect for a weeknight meal.
Instructions
- Season Steaks with Olive Oil, Garlic Powder, Onion Powder, Salt, and Pepper.
- Heat a cast iron skillet or heavy-bottomed pan over medium-high heat.
- Sear Steaks for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare, adjusting time for desired doneness.
- Remove Steaks from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt Butter over medium heat.
- Add Mushrooms and Onion to the skillet and cook until softened, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add Garlic and cook for 1 minute more.
- Sprinkle Flour over the mushroom mixture and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Gradually whisk in Beef Broth, ensuring no lumps form.
- Bring to a simmer and cook until the gravy thickens, about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in Heavy Cream, Worcestershire Sauce, Salt, and Pepper.
- Return Steaks to the skillet and spoon gravy over them.
- Simmer for 2-3 minutes to heat through.
- Serve immediately.
