- Make the Homemade Chocolate Sauce: Heat heavy cream in a saucepan over medium heat until simmering. Remove from heat and add chopped chocolate and butter. Let sit for 1 minute, then whisk until smooth and glossy. Stir in vanilla extract. Let cool slightly.
- Combine all Frosty Base ingredients in a blender.
- Add the cooled Homemade Chocolate Sauce to the blender.
- Blend on high speed until completely smooth and creamy, about 60 seconds.
- Taste and adjust sweetness if needed, adding a little more chocolate sauce.
- If the mixture is too thick, add a tablespoon of milk at a time until desired consistency is reached.
- Pour into chilled glasses and serve immediately. For a thicker consistency, freeze for 10-15 minutes before serving.
