Instructions
  1. Bring the Water to a boil in a medium saucepan.
  2. Gradually whisk in the Cornmeal and Salt, reducing heat to low.
  3. Cook, stirring constantly, for 20-25 minutes, or until the mush is thick and pulls away from the sides of the pan.
  4. While the mush is cooking, prepare the Maple Butter: In a small bowl, cream together the Unsalted Butter and Maple Syrup until light and fluffy.
  5. Serve the Cornmeal Mush hot, topped with a generous dollop of Maple Butter.
