Cousin Edgar's Maple Pecan Bread
A slightly refined version of the classic maple pecan bread, using browned butter and a touch of nutmeg for added depth of flavor.

All-Purpose Flour
1 tsp
Baking Soda
1/2 tsp
Salt
1/2 tsp
Ground Cinnamon

A slightly refined version of the classic maple pecan bread, using browned butter and a touch of nutmeg for added depth of flavor.
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together all Dry Ingredients.
- In a separate bowl, combine all Wet Ingredients. Mix well.
- Pour the Wet Ingredients into the Dry Ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Gently fold in the toasted Pecans.
- Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 55-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
