Instructions
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add water, sugar, salt, and cinnamon to the skillet. Stir until sugar is dissolved.
- Add the sliced carrots to the skillet and stir to coat them with the sauce.
- Bring the mixture to a simmer, then reduce heat to low, cover, and cook for 25-30 minutes, or until the carrots are tender.
- Stir occasionally to prevent sticking. If the sauce becomes too thick, add a tablespoon of water at a time.
- Serve hot.
