Equipment: Medium saucepan, Measuring cups and spoons, Zester, Wooden spoon or spatula Shop these items →
Instructions
  1. Combine all Cranberries, Sweetener, and Liquid ingredients, and Star Anise pods in a medium saucepan.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally.
  3. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for 20-25 minutes, or until the cranberries have burst and the sauce has thickened.
  4. Remove from heat and remove Star Anise pods.
  5. Stir in Orange zest, Vanilla extract, and Sea salt.
  6. Let cool completely. The sauce will thicken further as it cools.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
