Instructions
- Melt Butter in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add Onion from Aromatics and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Add Garlic from Aromatics and cook for 1 minute more.
- Add Mushrooms and cook until browned and softened, about 8-10 minutes.
- Sprinkle Flour from Thickening over the mushrooms and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
- Gradually whisk in Chicken Broth from Liquid, ensuring no lumps form.
- Bring to a simmer and cook for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Stir in Heavy Cream from Liquid, Salt, Pepper, and Thyme from Seasoning.
- Heat through, but do not boil. Serve hot.
