Creamy Cheddar Grits With Bacon
An enhanced version of classic grits, featuring thicker-cut bacon, a touch of garlic, and fresh herbs for added flavor.

Stone-Ground Grits

Chicken Broth

An enhanced version of classic grits, featuring thicker-cut bacon, a touch of garlic, and fresh herbs for added flavor.
Instructions
- Cook Bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove bacon and set aside, reserving 2 tablespoons of bacon grease.
- In the same skillet, sauté Garlic in reserved bacon grease for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Bring Chicken Broth, Salt, and Pepper to a boil in a medium saucepan.
- Gradually whisk in Grits and reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally, until grits are tender.
- Stir in Butter and Heavy Cream until well combined.
- Remove from heat and stir in Cheddar and Gruyere Cheese until melted and creamy.
- Stir in sautéed Garlic.
- Crumble cooked Bacon and sprinkle over grits. Garnish with Chives. Serve immediately.
