1/2 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp Black Pepper

Instructions
  1. Cook Bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove bacon and set aside, reserving 2 tablespoons of bacon grease.
  2. In the same skillet, sauté Garlic in reserved bacon grease for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Bring Chicken Broth, Salt, and Pepper to a boil in a medium saucepan.
  4. Gradually whisk in Grits and reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally, until grits are tender.
  5. Stir in Butter and Heavy Cream until well combined.
  6. Remove from heat and stir in Cheddar and Gruyere Cheese until melted and creamy.
  7. Stir in sautéed Garlic.
  8. Crumble cooked Bacon and sprinkle over grits. Garnish with Chives. Serve immediately.
