What You'll Need

Equipment: Large pot, Large skillet, Colander Shop these items →
Instructions
  1. Cook Pasta according to package directions. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. In a large skillet, brown Sausage over medium-high heat. Remove sausage and set aside.
  3. Add Olive oil to the skillet. Sauté Onion until softened, about 5 minutes. Add Garlic and cook for 1 minute more.
  4. Add Tomato paste and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly. Deglaze the pan with White wine, scraping up any browned bits.
  5. Add Crushed tomatoes, Diced tomatoes, Creole seasoning, and Cayenne pepper to the skillet. Bring to a simmer and cook for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Stir in Butter to enrich the sauce.
  7. Add Shrimp to the Sauce and cook until pink and opaque, about 5 minutes.
  8. Return Sausage to the skillet. Add cooked Pasta and toss to coat. If sauce is too thick, add reserved pasta water, 1/4 cup at a time.
  9. Garnish with Parsley and serve immediately.
