Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the Beef ingredients: beef sirloin, 1 tbsp cornstarch, 1/2 tsp salt, and 1/4 tsp black pepper. Set aside.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together all the Sauce ingredients: soy sauce, water, brown sugar, 1 tbsp cornstarch, sesame oil, minced garlic, and minced ginger. Set aside.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat.
- Add the beef to the skillet and cook until browned on all sides, about 3-4 minutes. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
- Add the broccoli florets to the skillet and cook until crisp-tender, about 5-7 minutes.
- Pour the Sauce over the broccoli and bring to a simmer, stirring constantly until the sauce thickens, about 1-2 minutes.
- Return the beef to the skillet and toss to coat with the sauce. Cook for another minute until heated through.
- Serve immediately over cooked rice.
