Instructions
- Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- Arrange the Bread cubes evenly in the prepared baking dish.
- In a large bowl, whisk together all Custard ingredients until well combined.
- Pour the Custard mixture evenly over the Bread cubes, pressing down gently to ensure all pieces are soaked.
- In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, pecan pieces, and brown sugar for the Topping. Sprinkle evenly over the Custard-soaked bread.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or preferably overnight.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Bake uncovered for 50-55 minutes, or until golden brown and set. Let cool slightly before serving.
