Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
Place the Bread cubes into the prepared baking dish.
In a large bowl, whisk together all Custard ingredients until well combined.
Pour the Custard mixture evenly over the Bread cubes, ensuring all pieces are moistened.
Sprinkle the Fruit Loops cereal evenly over the top of the casserole.
In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, brown sugar, and nutmeg for the Topping. Sprinkle over the Fruit Loops.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best results.
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Bake uncovered for 50-55 minutes, or until golden brown and set.
