Instructions
Place Potatoes in a large pot and cover with cold water. Bring to a boil and cook until tender, about 15-20 minutes.
While Potatoes are cooking, melt Butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Continue cooking until Butter turns golden brown and has a nutty aroma. Set aside.
Drain Potatoes and return them to the pot.
Sauté Garlic in a separate pan with a little butter until fragrant, about 1 minute. Add to the Potatoes.
Add Dairy ingredients (Heavy Cream and Mascarpone Cheese) and browned Butter to the pot.
Mash Potatoes with a potato ricer or potato masher until extremely smooth and creamy.
Stir in Truffle Oil, Sea Salt, and White Pepper. Adjust seasoning to taste.
