Instructions
  1. Heat a large cast iron skillet (or heavy-bottomed skillet) over high heat until very hot.
  2. Add 1 tablespoon of Olive Oil to the skillet. Add Green Beans in a single layer (work in batches if necessary).
  3. Cook for 5-7 minutes, without stirring, until blistered and charred in spots. Flip and cook for another 3-5 minutes until tender-crisp.
  4. Remove Green Beans from skillet and set aside.
  5. Add Butter to the same skillet and cook over medium-high heat, swirling occasionally, until it turns golden brown and has a nutty aroma (about 5-7 minutes). Watch carefully to prevent burning.
  6. Add Garlic to the brown butter and cook for 30 seconds, until fragrant.
  7. Remove from heat and stir in Parmesan Cheese, Lemon Juice, and Red Pepper Flakes. This is your Brown Butter Parmesan Sauce.
  8. Add the blistered Green Beans back to the skillet and toss to coat evenly with the sauce.
  9. Garnish with Toasted Almonds and serve immediately.
