Instructions
  1. Marinate Chicken Gizzards in Marinade ingredients for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours.
  2. In a large pot or Dutch oven, brown the marinated Chicken Gizzards over medium-high heat. Work in batches to avoid overcrowding.
  3. Remove browned gizzards from the pot and set aside.
  4. Add Onion to the pot and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  5. Add Garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
  6. Sprinkle All-Purpose Flour over the onion and garlic, stirring constantly for 1-2 minutes to create a roux.
  7. Gradually whisk in Chicken Broth, ensuring no lumps form.
  8. Bring the sauce to a simmer, then return the browned Chicken Gizzards to the pot.
  9. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 60-75 minutes, or until the gizzards are tender.
  10. Season with Salt and Black Pepper to taste. Serve hot with mashed potatoes or rice.
