A slightly more refined version of gravy bread, featuring fresh herbs in the gravy and a higher-quality bread.
Instructions
- Melt Butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
- Whisk in All-Purpose Flour and cook for 1-2 minutes, creating a roux.
- Gradually whisk in Chicken Broth, ensuring no lumps form.
- Bring to a simmer, then reduce heat and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until thickened.
- Stir in Fresh Thyme and Fresh Parsley.
- Season with Salt and Black Pepper.
- Toast Sourdough Bread to desired level of crispness.
- Pour Gravy generously over toasted Bread and serve immediately.
